Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Silverline

Silverline is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture

One of Silverline’s Core Values is that we are better together. DIBS (Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Silverline) is committed to developing a culture and program of initiatives that ensures we are growing a diverse, inclusive, and equitable employee population, and bringing those employees together to build a connected and innovative company where everyone feels that they belong.

Diversity and inclusion is more than creating an environment with people from different backgrounds. It’s also encouraging diversity of thought and learning how we can empower and encourage employees to share ideas, participate in initiatives for positive change, and make meaningful contributions that embrace and support the world we live in.

Silverline Allies

A group of global Silverline volunteer members works towards making our organization a more diverse and inclusive workplace by focusing on the employee experience and creating initiatives to encourage and highlight all employee communities. This was our first employee-led group, and it is their work that underpins and remains the foundation for the execution of our DIBS strategy and key focus areas.

DIBS Focus Areas

  • Ensure our company's policies and programs support an inclusive culture

  • Celebrate our diverse employee communities and increase cultural awareness

  • Recruit from a diverse, qualified group of potential applicants

Silverline encourages work/life balance through flexible work schedules to accommodate employees’ varying needs (such as flexible working hours for parents and family care-givers), and our official Volunteer Time Off Policy encourages employees to donate their time to the communities we serve and promote a greater understanding and respect for diversity. We also offer gender transition, adoption, and reproductive benefits. For more about the benefits we offer, visit our Careers page.

In our hiring and advancement practices, we maintain and cultivate partnerships with external partners that focus on professional skills and tech development for underrepresented communities, and encourage employee referrals from our diverse internal communities. We also have representatives appear at tech conferences that are targeted to underrepresented communities, like Dreamin’ in Color, a conference geared toward current and aspiring Black Salesforce professionals and WITness Success which empowers, supports and invests in Salesforce Women in Tech.
