Lots has happened this week in Salesforce news! Check out some of our favorite links below for breaking Salesforce news on Dreamforce 2011, some great tips from the Twitterverse, and one surefire way on how to increase your user adoption. Have a great weekend!

++ Registration for Dreamforce 2011 has officially opened! The dates are set for August 30th – September 2nd in San Francisco, and Salesforce has already lined up more than 425 sessions for the annual event. Just browsing through the session titles has me excited. Can’t wait to see everyone there!

++ And if you have an especially good idea for one of those Dreamforce 2011 sessions, Dave Carroll is calling for rockstar presentation submissions here!

++ Mike Gerholdt over at ButtonClickAdmin shares some great tips on getting answers from the social networks that surround the Salesforce community. Feel free to tweet questions to us, too – we love helping out!

++ There’s been a lot of blog buzz about Salesforce’s recent acquisition of social media monitoring company Radian6. The WSJ calls it the development of the “Marketing Cloud.” Forbes says the “strategy reflects bets on the five pillars of consumer tech entering the enterprise, [as it] delivers social analytics” and predicts Salesforce will be shopping for a solution for unified communications and video.

++ In other interesting analysis, check out this interesting article (hat tip to JP Seabury, thanks!) on how hardware vendors are changing up their strategy to deliver infrastructure as a service. Interesting stuff.

++ And finally, BACON COLOGNE. Guaranteed to increase user adoption, like, exactly one million percent. People will be knocking down your door to customize their apps, if you know what I’m saying.
