Job Title: Healthcare Integration Domain Lead
Start Date:
August 2019

What is a fun fact or something interesting about yourself?

I have a goal of riding a motorcycle to Alaska on the Al-Can highway all the way to the end, which is called Deadhorse. If you ever watched the TV show Ice Road Truckers, then you understand the challenge.

What is your position at Silverline?

I’m the Healthcare and Life Sciences Domain Lead for the Integration team. We help our own resources and clients integrate applications into Salesforce and MuleSoft. My specific role is a subject matter expert on healthcare applications, data, processes, and to be creative on how to best accomplish the integration. The focus is always on the ultimate goal, which is to provide excellent patient care and clinician workflow.

What does your average day look like?

It usually starts at 7:30 a.m. by checking Slack, email, and my Google calendar in order to plan the week. I then begin preparing for upcoming meetings and studying for the MuleSoft certification. After work I head to the gym!

How did you find out about Silverline and your current position?

At my previous employer, Prisma Health, Silverline gave a presentation on integrating a marketing propensity model. Needless to say, I was extremely impressed. I spoke with Silverline afterwards and was ready to make my next career move!

What motivates you at work?

My wife had a serious medical issue and I had to assist in her recovery every step of the way. After seeing firsthand how important a patient’s experience is, it reaffirmed why I continue to work in Healthcare IT. I want to ensure our clients and their patients have access to great applications and data in order to navigate their patient care journey. I call it, “connecting to purpose.”

What are some interesting challenges you face?

Learning the Google suite, I have been a Microsoft user for years! The Healthcare industry continues to evolve using technology and it requires a mindset of constant learning, which I enjoy.

What new things have you learned since you began working at Silverline?

The Salesforce ecosystem. I have supported CRM from the tech side, but I did not understand the complexity of Salesforce and the flexibility of it.

What do you think makes Silverline successful?

The culture! The blending of the different generations, willingness to work together in order to best support our clients. Our focus is on excellence and service. Two of my key personal values.

What is your favorite perk?

I enjoy working with the diversity of people and of course the free gym membership we receive as part of our Silverline benefits!

What is your favorite memory from working at Silverline?

The orientation in New York City was so much fun. I was able to discover key values, do a scavenger hunt, and meet so many people.

What do you hope for your future at Silverline?

I enjoy teaching and mentoring people, so I hope to continue to advance the Silverline name in the Healthcare and Salesforce ecosystem. As Healthcare mergers continue to happen, Silverline is going to have to keep adapting as the project gets larger and larger.

What advice would you give someone considering a job at Silverline?

Continue to be curious and have self discipline as well as a curious mindset of learning and self initiative.
