What is a fun fact or something interesting about yourself?
I’m a duel citizen for Canada and have two adorable Corgi puppies.
What is your position at Silverline?
I’m the AppExchange Account Executive! I sell and demo anything on AppExchange, but mostly CalendarAnything which is our most popular product along with the new RSVP, a CalendarAnything accelerator.
What does your average day look like?
Wake up and drink some ice-cold water, I’m not a fan of coffee… and see what demos I have for the day. I then have to build out use cases for the demos based on each client. Next, I send follow-up emails, make sure the client’s demo org is organized, prep for the next day of presentations, and lastly work on contract negotiations.
How did you find out about Silverline and your current position?
I found out from my friend Terry Jeager, who works at Silverline as a Solution Architect. He told me he worked for this amazing company and I should apply for the Sales Development Representative role.
What motivates you at work?
Closing deals and helping clients make sure they are organized within their Salesforce org and CalendarAnything. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing their colorful Calendar in Salesforce.
What are some interesting challenges you face?
On a daily basis, it’s making sure my demo matches what my client needs to see and being able to give them a unique presentation based on their company and Salesforce org.
What new things have you learned since you began working at Silverline?
Everything about the Salesforce ecosystem. I knew nothing when I started and was able to get my Salesforce Administrator Certification when I started working here within six months, I knew I was going to commit to Salesforce as my career.
What do you think makes Silverline successful?
Our people! We have such strong individuals in this company who all have so much motivation with the same goal in mind. That is something extremely hard to find.
What is your favorite perk?
Unlimited vacation!
What is your favorite memory from working at Silverline?
I would have to say the summit in June. It was amazing having the whole company together and the feeling that all your hard work is paying off.
What do you hope for your future at Silverline?
I hope I can move into a leadership role one day and continue to grow and learn in the Salesforce consulting world.
What advice would you give someone considering a job at Silverline?
Spend as much time as you can learning about Salesforce. MyTrailhead is an awesome resource for someone who is beginning to enter into the Salesforce ecosystem and not to mention it’s free!
