Job Title: Receptionist
Start Date: September 2017
Fun Fact: I’m Ambidextrous!

What is your position at Silverline and what do you do?

Receptionist, I do a lot of operations, facilities management, ordering food for the office, catering, new hire swag, helping with onboarding, and assisting with events.

What does your average day look like?

The best thing about my job is that there’s not an “average” day. I could be working on catering all day or scheduling meeting spaces or getting ready for new hires, it really depends.

How did you find out about Silverline and your current position?

I was referred here by my friend, Danny Sanchez, who is a quality assurance lead in the professional services department.

What motivates you at work?

I would say the positive energy that comes from the company. People here want to help out and there is an atmosphere where you are celebrated for your accomplishments.

What do you like most about your work?

The company in general and my coworkers, who are amazing to work with.

What are some challenges you face?

Not enough hours in the day!

What new things have you learned since you began working at Silverline?

I’ve learned so much about Salesforce, project management, working with clients, event planning, and about the company in general.

What do you think makes Silverline a successful company?

People here are honest and open! I also think when employees at Silverline receive feedback, they take it and improve upon it rather than looking at it as something negative.

What is your favorite perk?

The office food!

What is your favorite memory?

The Silverline Summit or Silverline Holiday Party!

What do you hope for your future at Silverline?

I hope to move into the Delivery department! I have been studying for the Salesforce Admin test and hope to pass it within the next six months.

If you had a friend who was thinking about working for Silverline, what advice would you give them?

Be honest, open, and have good communication skills! You need to be as true to who you are as possible during the interview.
