Job Title: Solution Architect
Start Date:
I first started at Silverline in July 2015, then left, and came back in February 2019.

What is a fun fact or something interesting about yourself?

I’m training to be a licensed skydiver! I have also lived in three different cities while working at Silverline: NYC, Chicago, and Omaha.

What is your position at Silverline?

I’m a Client Services Solution Architect. I have a wide variety of work; some things include working on pre-sales project scoping, checking in on different stages of a project lifecycle, and finally, working with clients. I was also able to help train the Silverline Academy 8 this year!

What does your average day look like?

I usually get to the office at 8 a.m., take a lot of calls throughout the day, and survive mostly on coffee.

How did you find out about Silverline and your current position?

The first time I started working at Silverline, I heard about the position through a friend of mine in Indianapolis, where I lived at the time. I applied and went through the Academy program and moved to NYC. This time Melissa Nelson, our Chief Value Officer, convinced me to come back to Silverline and move to Omaha and help run the Academy!

What motivates you at work?

I like my position because I get to be a helper. People loop me in to help with clients, design work, and so much more. I’m able to wear a lot of different hats.

What are some interesting challenges you face?

Context switching. Previously when I was in the delivery department I would be working on 1-2 projects. In Client Services, you work with 4-5 different clients on top of any pre-sales and internal work. There are a lot of 30-minute meetings back to back, and switching your brain to different problems.

What new things have you learned since you began working at Silverline?

Most of my Salesforce career has taken place at Silverline. I’ve learned that your work life and personal life don’t have to be separated. I met several of my best friends at Silverline, and even after people have left the company we have stayed in touch and even travel together from time to time.

What do you think makes Silverline successful?

I think the organization is pretty responsive to people raising concerns at the company. Leaders are focused on culture and they address things that may not be perfect. Their heads and hearts are in the right place. We are all a team and do a good job of supporting one another.

What is your favorite perk?

Flexibility. Being a part of a workforce that is comfortable with you working remotely is super cool. I’m able to travel and not have to worry about taking time off.

What is your favorite memory from working at Silverline?A Day in the Life:

I have so many memories here. The ones that stand out the most is the fact that I have been involved in many tattoo experiences at Silverline.

What do you hope for your future at Silverline?

I’m really enjoying the job I’m doing and being exposed to different parts of the business. I want to keep learning and have opportunities to take ownership of things.

What advice would you give someone considering a job at Silverline?

Reach out to as many people who work at Silverline as possible. It will give you a great idea of what it’s like to work here!
