A Day in the Life

What is your position at Silverline and what do you do?

I’m a key contributor to the project team and I help guide customers through the implementation of Salesforce. My role as a Solution Architect is to engage with and understand the needs of clients, lead discovery sessions, uncover the customer’s business functions and technical requirements. I help create a story map to implement for our customers.

What does your average day look like?

I typically check emails at 6:00 – 6:30 a.m.-ish, take my son to school, then come home and dive into work. I check my tasks and make sure I’m up to speed. I’m on conference calls most of the day and spend time collaborating with my team. I help figure out how to provide the best solution for my clients and what their future processes are going to look like.

How did you find out about Silverline and your current position?

I applied a couple of years ago and at the time the position didn’t align with my experience. I heard they were looking to hire again from a current Silverline co-worker. I really wanted to work at Silverline and applied again, had about 4-5 phone interviews and was made an offer.

What motivates you at work?

The team and the leadership at Silverline; Gireesh is the best CEO I have ever worked for. Another thing that motivates me is getting up every day to make a difference. Developing solutions that have a direct impact to help businesses grow and thrive is very rewarding.

What do you like most about your work?

I would say that I have to be on my toes, and thinking all the time. Building out the solution, putting together the flow diagrams are really enjoyable. Seeing the full end to end process and watching all your work come together adds so much value.

What are some challenges you face?

Not enough time in the day—I think we tend to have tight deadlines.

What new things have you learned since you began working at Silverline?

Creating and mapping out storyboards. Becoming more organized and understanding project structures and how projects should be managed as well. I have seen improvements in how I interact with project teams and engaging with the Technical Architects.

What do you think makes Silverline a successful company?

The leadership hands down, Gireesh is fantastic. To grow and scale this company without it negatively impacting the culture is one of the best parts about Silverline. It has a small firm feel, with a lot of team building. You are not just a number.

What is your favorite perk?

Unlimited PTO and not being micromanaged.

What is your favorite memory?

The summit was amazing, I was able to take my entire family to Arizona. It was the best team building weekend I have ever been a part of. Everything we did at the summit tied into our day-to-day work life.

What do you hope for your future at Silverline?

I hope to continue to provide value for the company and grow into a leadership role. I really want to move up and have more and more impact on the company. I want to see us succeed way beyond what we already are.

If you had a friend who was thinking about working for Silverline, what advice would you give them?

I would tell them if you are looking for a company where your voice is heard, there is an amazing culture, great leadership, and outstanding benefits then Silverline is for you. Make sure that when you are interviewing to be yourself and go along for the ride. It’s a journey through the interview process, but a good one.

How has Silverline changed you?

This company has definitely has changed me and my lifestyle in a very positive way, I’m able to spend time with my family and be extremely productive—the work-life balance is very good in my role.
