Reading time: 2 minutes

Job Title: Change Management & Readiness Consultant
Start Date:  July 2017
Fun Fact:  I love English Soccer, and going to the historic stadiums.

What is your position at Silverline and what do you do?

I help to design and create platforms for projects on training implementations. It’s a hybrid job and I’m heavily involved in the delivery of user acceptance testing (UAT), meeting clients, and building a foundation for the end user.

What does your average day look like?

I try to start my day the night before by making handwritten to do lists for the next day. Most of my time is spent on client calls and trainings, reviewing decks, data maintenance, and making sure the technology is as operational as possible. A lot of what I do is reactionary.

How did you find out about Silverline and your current position?

I heard Silverline a couple of years ago from my friend Shane Hayes. I was a consultant at my previous company and made the move to Silverline because during the interview process it felt like a place to call home.

What motivates you at work?

I always try to do my best and have a perspective on what the platform is going to be like for the people we are delivering solutions to. I ask myself what is it going to be like for the end user and how can we set them up for success.

What do you like most about your work?

I like how challenging it can be. Being able to work with an interesting group of people that are smart and ready to overcome a problem is great.

What are some challenges you face?

Client work can be both a blessing and a challenge—trying to understand their world and help deliver those expectations within reason. I also find traveling for work challenging. While it is very enjoyable, I do miss my family when I am away.

What new things have you learned since you began working at Silverline?

How creative our developers are and seeing the fun solutions they come up with. I also like learning about how Silverline invests in their employees through programs like Silverline Allies.

What do you think makes Silverline a successful company?

I would say Silverline does a good job balancing both client and employee needs. Nobody is in an ivory tower, people are here to listen to you and validate you.

What is your favorite perk?

I love being able to travel to NY for the annual holiday party!

What is your favorite memory?

There are a lot! My favorite memory is from our summit in Phoenix, AZ. A bunch of us went on a desert tour in the mountains. It was a great bonding experience between coworkers!

What do you hope for your future at Silverline?

I hope to continue to be challenged and be presented with projects where I can influence positive change.

If you had a friend who was thinking about working for Silverline, what advice would you give them?

Apply now and be nothing but yourself during the interview. Silverline works best when everyone is exactly who they are and not trying to be someone else. Also, be ready to get stretched to your limit, and be hungry to learn.
