Glassdoor Names Gireesh Sonnad A Top CEO

By Amanda Mandell 06.20.18

I am beyond excited to announce that our CEO, Gireesh Sonnad has officially been named a Top CEO for U.S. Small & Medium Companies by  Glassdoor®! The annual list highlights the Top CEOs in several countries throughout North America and Europe.

Since starting at Silverline over 3 years, I have been told about Gireesh’s open door policy where you could chat with him on both a professional and personal level. I honestly thought this was too good to be true, but I’m here to tell you it isn’t. Gireesh always makes himself available and is there to answer any questions and give advice. Some of my favorite Silverline memories include those times when Gireesh spends time eating lunch with everyone on free lunch  Wednesdays.

After being named Glassdoor’s #1 Best Places to Work for Small & Medium businesses, Gireesh made it one of his company goals to even further improve and focus on the employee experience. It is certainly no surprise to any Silverliner that Gireesh has now been named a Top CEO. He doesn’t have a 100% approval for nothing! Check out a few things that others have said in their Glassdoor reviews:

One of the biggest pros is the open door policy. I feel like I can be very transparent not just with my manager, but with my manager’s manager, and etc. I enjoy the people that I work with and love the company. Gireesh is a great CEO!”

“Keep pushing for the great culture you have created at Silverline. You are doing a fantastic job and I see all your hard work everyday. I am glad to be a part of the Silverline family.”

“You CAN have a job that you love, at a company you admire, with phenomenal co-workers and an even better CEO. Silverline’s got it all!”

CEO approval ratings are gathered through Glassdoor’s online company review survey, which gathers current and former employee’s sentiments about job and company satisfaction, the work environment and the culture. Employees are asked to rate a number of workplace factors like compensation and benefits as well as work-life balance and asked whether they approve, disapprove or are neutral about the job their CEO is doing. In addition, employees are asked to describe some of the upsides and downsides of working for the company and provide any advice for senior management.
