I recently had the opportunity to attend a Back to School event for the patients and families at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM). As part of our Silverline Cares initiative, Silverline co-sponsored the event with Salesforce. The event had a ton of fun events and goodies for the kids as they start preparing for the new school year. Some of the activities included:
- Decorate your own bookmarks, picture frames, notebooks, and planners
- Magic Show & Musician
- Face Painting
- Snacks for the kids, including smoothies, popcorn, fruit, and cookies
- 100 Backpacks with schools supplies were distributed to the children
I am thankful for Silverline and Salesforce for co-sponsoring the event along with the great staff at Montefiore who work with the children in the community each and every day. Specifically, I’d like to thank Maeve MacKenzie, Meghan Kelly, and Ingrid Ordonez at CHAM for helping to coordinate the event. The work they do every day has an incredibly positive impact on the children’s lives in the Bronx. Their energy and passion to improve the outcome of the children who may not have the insight into the possibilities for their future is fantastic.
