This article shows you how to set up a CalendarAnything LWC integration with Microsoft Teams.
Before you begin, a user with a Microsoft Business Account must complete the following steps:
- Log into Salesforce.
- Log into MS Integration from CalendarAnything LWC.
- Log into MS Admin Center.
- Approve CalendarAnything App.
- Log into Salesforce.
- Log into MS Integration from CalendarAnything LWC.
Note: The person with the Microsoft Business Account may or may not be a CalendarAnything administrator.
- Login to Microsoft Entra admin center.
- Go to Identity > Applications > Enterprise applications.
- Open All applications tab.
- If there is a ‘CalendarAnything app:
- Click CalendarAnything app.
- Open Properties tab.
- Click Delete.
- On Confirmation popup Delete CalendarAnything?, click Yes.
On the ‘All Applications’ page, click on the “Refresh” button.
Make sure there is no ‘CalendarAnything’ App.
Add Microsoft Teams in Remote Site Settings
Follow these steps to integrate Microsoft Teams into CalendarAnything LWC:
- Navigate to Salesforce Setup > Security > Remote Site Settings.
- Click New Remote Site. The Edit Remote Site page appears.
- Enter new remote site data as follows:
- Remote Site Name: Microsoft
- URL: https://graph.microsoft.com
- Click Save & New. The application saves the data and displays the blank edit page again.
- Enter data for the next remote site as follow:
- Remote Site Name: Microsoft Online
- URL: https://login.microsoftonline.com
- Click Save.
Log into Microsoft Teams
- Navigate to CalendarAnything Settings gear.
- From the CalendarAnything Settings menu, navigate to Integrations > Microsoft Login. The log in appears.
Note! If you have not yet received Mphasis approval to access this page, follow the procedure documented in . You will have to wait for approval before you will be able to Login to MS.
Enable Microsoft Team Tabs
Go to CalendarAnything Settings. Select General Settings, in Display and Layout section navigate to Add-ons display setting and enable Microsoft Teams add-on. Click Save.
Send Messages
Left click on a record within CalendarAnything
Open Microsoft Teams Tab
Choose Type, search Chat or Teams
Add Message and scroll down to send message
Create Web Calendar with Outlook Integration
Go to CalendarAnything Settings Gear > Create and Edit > Web Calendars
Click Add Web Calendar
On the Name and Color Tab, open External Calendars picklist.
Here you can find all the calendars available to you in Outlook
Select one of available Outlook Calendars, and click the Save button.
Logout from Microsoft Teams
Go to CalendarAnything Settings Gear > Integrations > Microsoft Team Login > Logout from MS Teams > Save
