If a user reports that their Calendar sidebar is not visible, as in the image below:

The solution is to grant that user the CalendarAnything Default Permission Set on their User page. Navigate to the Users tab in the Setup menu, click on the User’s name. Navigate to Permission Set Assignments,

Press Edit Assignments, and Enable the CalendarAnything Default Permission Set, then press Save.

The user should then be able to see the sidebar:
