Project Sunshine, a healthcare nonprofit based in New York, serves 150,000 children and families every year with the help of more than 18,000 volunteers. We’re proud to be counted among them, as Silverline has partnered with Project Sunshine in an ongoing effort to support pediatric patients in local hospitals throughout the country.

Through Silverline Cares, our philanthropic initiative, Project Sunshine has been able to extend their reach. We combine team building and giving back in our new hire orientations, during which we put together craft kits filled with fun, educational, and interactive activities to help engage and distract pediatric patients from a difficult time. These resources not only help the patients; they also help the support system of social workers, hospital staff, and family members.

Hear about the history of our partnership and our hands-on work giving back with Project Sunshine from Whitney Namm Pollack, Executive Director of Project Sunshine; Katy Kienitz, Director of Corporate Partnerships at Project Sunshine; and Gireesh Sonnad, our CEO.
