Improvements

Swimlane/Kanban Default Grouping

Calendar setup form has been updated to include an option for users to define default grouping for Swimlane and Kanban views.

Key Updates:/

• When one calendar is enabled, default grouping will be applied.
• When multiple calendars are enabled, the application checks whether calendars are using the same object. If they are not using the same object, no default grouping is applied.

Added links to the Help text

Added many new info button links with popup field definitions and knowledge article links.

Key Updates:

• Added info buttons with popup field definitions.
• Added info buttons with links to knowledge articles when in-depth information applies.

Benefits

• Reduces searching for context-sensitive help

Context Menu Button for Calendars in the Left Sidebar

This enhancement introduces a context menu button for each calendar in the left sidebar, providing users with quick access to additional actions directly from the sidebar.

Benefits:

• Enhanced User Experience: Provides a more intuitive and accessible way to interact with calendars.
• Increased Efficiency: Reduces the number of clicks required to perform key calendar actions.
• Better Organization: Simplifies calendar management by keeping key options within reach.

This enhancement makes working with calendars more seamless and intuitive.

Add the ability to select multiple values ​​for Default Grouping

Key Updates:

• The Calendar Criteria step in calendar setup has been updated with the ability to select multiple default grouping values for Swimlane and Kanban views.

Benefits:

• Multiple grouping defaults can be set at the calendar level

General Settings Improvements

Several settings have been moved or renamed within General Settings so that they are more intuitively located.

Key Updates:

• Multi Create Setup: ‘Multiline Additional Fields Text’ and ‘Maximum Multiline Lines’ have been moved to the ‘Advanced’ section.
• Multiline Additional Fields Text has been renamed to ‘Multiline Text’.
• Option title in ‘Advanced Clone’ renamed from ’Ask for Confirm’ to ‘Ask to Confirm’.
• ‘Maximum Multiline Lines’ is now hidden when ‘Multiline Additional Fields Text’ (‘Multiline Text’) is set to FALSE.

Month View: The white area at the top of the calendar has been made clickable and available for QC.

This enhancement makes the white area at the top of the calendar (next to the date) clickable, providing users with direct access to QC (Quick Create) form functionality. This update improves usability and ensures quick interaction with calendar elements.

Key Updates:

• Clickable White Space: The previously inactive white area next to the date is now an interactive element.
• Quick QC Access: Users can now access QC functionalities directly from this newly clickable area.
• Enhanced User Experience: Provides an intuitive and convenient way to interact with the calendar layout.

• Increased Efficiency: Allows users to engage with QC actions more seamlessly when creating multiple records at a time.

Extended Grouping Options for Kanban View to Support Multi-Select Picklist

This enhancement extends the Kanban view’s grouping capabilities by adding support for multi-select picklist fields. Users can now group records by multiple values, providing greater flexibility in organizing and visualizing their data. To enable this feature, open General Settings – Grouping Options and select Split Multipicklist Values.

Added Filter Panel for Mobile in CalendarAnything

A filter panel option has been added for Mobile.

• Added a General Settings checkbox labeled ‘Display Filter Panel on Small Device’ that when selected adds the filter panel option for mobile devices.

Added support for Custom Logo on Mobile

CalendarAnything LWC now supports a custom logo for Mobile

Key Updates:

• Updates ensure that if a custom logo has been created, it will appear on CalendarAnything on the mobile device as well.

Bug Fixes

• CaMonth/Swimlane: If the filter is applied, the calendar moves to the beginning of the month.
• Zoom Integration: Online Meeting cannot be created if the event subject is too long.
• Sometimes the ‘All-Day Checkbox’ is set incorrectly.
