Improvements

Teams Meeting Type Display Setting

A new display setting, Teams Meeting Type, has been added to provide users with greater control over how Microsoft Teams meetings are created when scheduling events through CalendarAnything.

Available Options

Meet Now (Default)

• Default behavior for Teams meeting creation.
• Teams meeting links are generated automatically when user clicks on a Make it a Teams Meeting button.
• No additional user input is required.

Select During Creation

• Preserves the existing optional meeting creation experience.
• Users are presented with a Teams meeting checkbox during event creation.
• Users can decide whether an Event in Outlook should be created at the time when Teams meeting link is generated from CalendarAnything event.

Outlook Event

• Creates an Outlook event with an associated Teams meeting link automatically.
• The Teams meeting checkbox is hidden from the event creation interface.
• Users are not required to manually select meeting creation options.

Benefits:

• Provides users with flexible control over Teams meeting behavior.
• Supports different scheduling workflows based on organizational requirements.

Impact

• Existing configurations will default to Meet Now to maintain current behavior.
• No action is required for existing customers unless a different Teams meeting creation experience is desired.

New format for displaying Agenda Start and End (Start Date/Time and end Date/Time)

Benefits:

• Provides start and end date and times for multi-day Events in the Agenda view

Key Updates:

• Updated Agenda View to show start and end dates and times for multi-day events

New Availability Setting: Maximum Total Appointments for Each Time Period

Benefits:

• Enables users to set a maximum number of appointments that can be scheduled within the same time slot.

Key Updates:

• A new field called Maximum Total Appointments for Each Time Period provides user control over how many appointments can be booked for a given time slot.

Improved Visual Indicators for Collapsed Calendar Lists

To improve visual distinction between expanded and collapsed sections, updates have been made to the appearance of section headers when a section is in the collapsed state.

Benefits:

• Provides a clearer visual indication of collapsed sections.
• Improves overall readability and navigation within complex layouts.
• Creates a more consistent and intuitive user experience when working with multiple sections.

Key Updates:

When a section is collapsed:

• Section icon opacity is reduced to 70%.
• Section title opacity is reduced to 70%.

Bug Fixes

• CA LWC: Custom Grouping – sorting field (Gantt)
• CA LWC: The Color Legend and Event Colors in the Excel file are incorrect when the Color Field is selected.
• CA LWC: (Gantt): Picklist sorting in the Gantt view does not work when combined with grouping by a Date or Date/Time field.
