Updates
The new package includes several updates focused primarily on improving the reliability of the CalendarAnything LWC loading and initialization process.
The changes include:
- Updates to the component initialization and static resource loading process.
- Changes to how static resources are identified and loaded, including the use of relative paths to better support different Salesforce environments and site configurations.
- Improvements to the loading sequence to ensure the required static resources are successfully loaded before the CalendarAnything LWC is initialized.
These changes specifically address the impact of a Salesforce platform change affecting how static resources are loaded. Salesforce has documented this behavior in the following Salesforce Knowledge Article (#005390235)
Our updated package introduces a revised static resource loading approach that mitigates the issue described by Salesforce. Rather than relying on the previous resource path behavior, the updated package identifies the appropriate resource location and loads the resources using relative paths, including support for different Community and public site configurations.
Once the required resources are loaded successfully, the CalendarAnything LWC continues with its normal initialization process.
The goal of these changes is to make the package more resilient to the Salesforce platform behavior while maintaining the existing CalendarAnything functionality.
