This update includes improvements and bug fixes.

New Features

This feature allows users to select specific record types when creating new records from the related list in the Event Details popup. Once a record type has been selected, the system will remember the last selected type.

External Web Calendars Timeout

A new Admin setting which allows system admins to set a custom timeout, instead of only using the default 10 seconds. This ensures that large web calendars with numerous records can load properly without triggering error messages.

Improvements

Availability – Advanced Resource Balancing

This update introduces a new Resource Usage settings section on the General tab of the Availability Calendar. This monitors the number of bookings each team member receives. If one person gets too many appointments compared to others—reaching a limit you define—the system will temporarily hide their availability. Once their colleagues catch up and receive more bookings, that person’s availability will automatically reappear, ensuring a fair distribution of work across the team.

Beyond balancing, you can now set specific caps on how many events a team member can be booked for in a single day or over a specific time period.

Benefits:

  • Ensures a fair distribution of appointments by monitoring the number of bookings each team member receives.

Impact:

  • Improved management of workload balance for all resources in an organization.

Enhanced Availability Precision (Flow Busy Slots)

To provide a more accurate view of resource availability, the Flow Busy Slots feature now supports cross-checking records across multiple objects. In addition to evaluating records from the configured Appointments object, the system can also analyze records returned by the Additional Busy Appointments Flow.
As a result, if a resource has a related record on another object returned by the Flow, that time is also treated as busy and removed from the resource’s available time slots. This helps prevent double-booking and provides a more accurate reflection of the resource’s real-time availability.

Impact:

  • Scheduling accuracy is maintained automatically across different Salesforce objects, ensuring reliable booking without manual cross-referencing.

Bug Fixes

  • Dynamic Lists for ID Fields: A fix was implemented for an issue where dynamic lists were unavailable for ID fields, even though they functioned correctly for lookup fields.
  • Calendar Group Loading: Fixed a limitation that prevented all records from displaying in calendar groups when they contained empty or deleted IDs. The system was previously cutting off data after loading 10 calendars per group.
  • Salesforce Form Errors: Resolved an error that prevented Salesforce forms from opening when using a combination of multi-contact settings and dynamic lists as default values.
