New Features
Confirmation Popup Message
Feature Overview: We’ve added a confirmation popup message to enhance accuracy and control when updating records through drag-and-drop actions in the calendar. To enable this feature:
- Navigate to CalendarAnything General Settings.
- Scroll to find the Advanced section.
- Select “Confirm Edit on Drag & Drop.”
Feature Details: When a user drags and drops a record in the calendar, a popup will now appear asking for confirmation. The user will have two options:
- Confirm: Applies the update to the new date/time.
- Cancel: Discards the change and returns the record to its original position.
Benefits: This confirmation feature helps prevent unintentional updates, ensuring that calendar changes are both accurate and deliberate.
Double-Tap to Open Salesforce Records on Mobile
Feature Overview: We’ve introduced a new double-tap functionality in CalendarAnything LWC for mobile users, enabling faster access to Salesforce records directly from the calendar interface. This feature aligns with the existing double-click functionality on desktop, which also bypasses the Details Popup and takes users straight to the Salesforce record. To enable this feature, navigate to CalendarAnything General Settings -> Advanced -> Mobile Device Double Click and select “Navigate to Records Detail.”
Feature Details:
- Double-Tap to Open on Mobile: Users can now double-tap any record in the CalendarAnything UI on mobile to skip the Details Popup window and go directly to the associated Salesforce record.
- Desktop Consistency: This functionality mirrors the desktop experience, where a double-click on records opens the Salesforce record without the Details Popup.
- Streamlined Navigation: Eliminates the need to interact with the Details Popup and Preview button, enhancing efficiency and simplifying navigation.
Benefits: This double-tap feature on mobile saves time, allowing users to access records directly, enhancing productivity for mobile users and creating a consistent experience across devices.
Improvements
Multi-Create
Feature Overview: The Multi-Create functionality now supports Salesforce Flows, allowing users to automate and streamline the creation of multiple records based on customized workflows and conditions.
Feature Benefit: This enhancement improves efficiency and accuracy in processes that require the generation of multiple records.
Clickable Address Links in Detail Popups and Additional Fields
Feature Overview: We’ve improved how addresses are displayed in detail popups and additional fields. Addresses are now clickable links that open directly in Google Maps for quick access and easy navigation.
- Clickable Address Links: Addresses in detail popups and additional fields are
now clickable. Selecting the link will open the address in Google Maps in a new
tab. - Enhanced User Experience: Simplifies location access, allowing users to quickly
view and navigate to addresses without needing to copy and paste.
Feature Benefits: This enhancement improves user productivity and streamlines workflows by providing direct access to Google Maps, making it easier to plan routes and verify locations.
Bug Fixes
- The End Date can be set before the Start Date.
- Cut/Paste functionality in views with grouping options is not working as expected.
