New Features & Improvements
New Features
- Settings Visibility Setup – Settings Override
We are excited to introduce the Settings Override option in CalendarAnything, a powerful tool designed to enhance administrative control and flexibility over user settings. This feature empowers CalendarAnything Admins to modify specific settings for users, regardless of any personalized settings they may have configured.
Ensure critical settings are uniformly applied and maintained across your organization. Maintain consistency in user settings while retaining the ability for individual customization when necessary. Adjust settings dynamically to meet changing organizational needs without disrupting individual user customizations.
Granular Control – Admins can apply overrides at multiple levels (Profile, Role, Organization-Wide).
- URL Parameters – Date Literals
Introducing a new feature that enhances the flexibility and functionality of CalendarAnything by supporting Date Literals in URL parameters. This enhancement allows users to leverage dynamic date values directly within URL parameters, simplifying the process of displaying date-specific data.
Users can now use Date Literals such as TODAY, YESTERDAY, LAST_WEEK, NEXT_MONTH, and more within URL parameters to dynamically display data based on relative dates. With Date Literals, configuring the CalendarAnything component for specific time periods becomes more efficient and streamlined. Users can quickly access data for the current day, previous week, next month, etc.
Bug Fixes
- Custom Recurrence – wrong day of the week for yearly recurrence.
- Gantt View – records from hidden working hours are visible.
- Slack Integration – unable to send Slack messages with Event Summary
