I’m the local community leader for the Nashville Salesforce Administrator Group, and last month, I led a joint Nashville Salesforce User Group meeting with the Salesforce Developer Group and Mulesoft User Group. We had about 55 people attend, which was the largest meeting so far! At this holiday-themed meeting, we raffled off many prizes — including a pair of Silverline-branded AirPods and some stellar Mulesoft training and Salesforce certification vouchers!
Building your Salesforce Admin, Developer, and Mulesoft skills…
Once we finished our ugly sweater contest, we put on our thinking caps on and delved into Salesforce technical trivia. The room was broken up into six groups, all competing for different titles and their pick from the plethora of swag. Each group had to review and discuss technical questions ranging from developer topics like identifying the proper APEX trigger syntax to default Mulesoft API security settings, administrator automation tools, and even fun Salesforce facts like naming the latest Salesforce mascot.
Making community connections
One of the largest benefits of joining and attending the local user group is making connections within our local community. We had the chance to recognize and award the most active members.
Growth and development
Growth and development is another cornerstone of the group. We were so excited to recognize four individuals that landed a new certification since the last meetup, and we had the opportunity to give out three Mulesoft training courses and another four Salesforce certification vouchers.
It is so exciting to see how these training and certifications help grow our members’ careers and opportunities. Congrats to: Ben Sloan of Healthstream, Steven Edwards of Enovate Medical, Lisa Raine of Freed-Hardeman University, John Robinson of CGI, and Will Adams.
Our next Nashville Salesforce Admin meeting — a Dreamforce Global Gathering — will be on Thursday, January 23rd! Be sure to register here.
Come out to connect, learn, and grow. See you there!
