Believe it or not, this year Dreamforce is celebrating 20 years. What started as a small gathering of 1,000 Salesforce customers in San Francisco for the first-ever Dreamforce has since become the largest software conference in the world, with tens of thousands of attendees.
You may have perused the over 1,000 available sessions and narrowed it down to the over 100 sessions for healthcare. But even with all the filtering, it can be overwhelming to figure out the sessions that are worth checking out. Our Silverline Healthcare team may not have been at Dreamforce 20 years ago, but we have attended many Dreamforce conferences over the years. Here are our top recommendations for sessions to attend.
Building a Trusted, Personalized Contact Center for Payers
On average, by pivoting to a digital healthcare platform, contact centers have seen a 15% increase in member satisfaction and a 40% decrease in access center operations costs. We’re looking forward to hearing from executives at leading health insurers, CDPHP and Arkansas BlueCross BlueShield, about how a fully integrated platform can help your contact center create personalized, omni-channel experiences for members, providers, and other stakeholders and partners.

Foster Transformational Change Through Healthcare Automation
Many healthcare institutions are still using old-school legacy processes such as Excel spreadsheets or sticky notes to power their workflows. Join this session to learn how automation can help your organization adapt, scale, and speed up innovation to drive increased productivity, reduced costs, and improved customer experiences. We like Dreamforce’s Birds of a Feather sessions like this because they bring together like-minded attendees for insightful discussions around relevant topics.

Drive Efficient Care Through Automation and Innovation
There’s that buzzword again – automation – that you’ll be hearing again and again at Dreamforce. We’re excited to hear from executives at Humana about how they use Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, and Tableau to reap the rewards of automation. Humana is paving the way to financial health by adapting operating models to integrate with the entire healthcare ecosystem.

In this session, Intermountain Healthcare will share how it encourages and guides patients to actively engage in their care journey with personalized interactions, self-service tools, and on-demand access to information and services.

Power Trusted, Patient-Centered Care on a Connected Platform
Healthcare organizations are competing to gain and retain patients, and first impressions are critical – 50% of patients say a bad digital experience with a healthcare provider ruins the entire experience with that provider, and 82% of patients say that quality customer service is the most important factor they consider when choosing care. In this session, you’ll learn how a secure, resilient, and scalable platform can increase productivity and empower providers to shift their focus back to patient relationships.
