Job Title: Solution Architect
Start Date: January 2018

Tell us a fun fact or something interesting about yourself?

I’ve been collecting and reading comics for 40 years.

What does your average day look like?

I typically have a few morning and afternoon meetings internally and with clients for ongoing managed services engagements and presales calls.  The remaining time I spend working on story-building, research into open questions, hands-on configuration, and working on estimates for sales proposals.

How did you find out about Silverline and your current position?

I was contacted directly by a recruiter in the fall of 2017.

What motivates you at work?

I enjoy having the chance to help our customers with their ongoing daily needs, while continuing to learn and grow as a Salesforce professional.

What are some interesting challenges you face?

Hearing requirements from the client that they’d like delivered within the platform, but are outside standard functionality, and identifying the most appropriate solution that meets their needs with a minimum of technical debt.

What new things have you learned since you began working at Silverline?

I’ve improved my ability to scope new work, and developed a much greater understanding of the entire Healthcare & Life Sciences industry, as well as a fair amount of the Financial Services industry through our client work.

What do you think makes Silverline successful?

A key factor in our success are our people. The solutions and out-of-the-box thinking I see from my diverse set of peers never ceases to amaze me and I am always confident that the solutions identified will meet client needs and expectations.

What is your favorite perk?

Being able to work near full-time remotely, with occasional visits to clients and team gatherings.

What is your favorite memory from working at Silverline?

Attending the last two full company gatherings, called The Silverline Summit, and getting to spend a couple days with many of my peers throughout the organization.

What do you hope for your future at Silverline?

I hope to continue to grow and expand my knowledge and expertise in Salesforce, and particularly within the Healthcare & Life Sciences industry.

What advice would you give someone considering a job at Silverline?

Be open minded and willing to have your frame of reference challenged, directly and indirectly.
