I can do handstand push-ups!

What is your position at Silverline?

I’m a Marketing Cloud Technical Architect. This simply means I write a lot of code and implement solutions on Marketing Cloud with Sales and Service Cloud.

What does your average day look like?

I usually have a few hours of meetings, then I do about an hour of research, and the rest of the time I’m writing code and working on client implementations. 

How did you find out about Silverline and your current position?

I worked with John Turner previously at Salesforce and we reconnected last winter. He said he was looking to build out the Marketing Cloud team at Silverline and asked me to join the team!

What motivates you at work?

Complex problems that challenge my thinking.

What are some interesting challenges you face?

Clients that don’t fully understand their data or technology and how it relates to Marketing Cloud. I think this is something a lot of companies struggle with.

What new things have you learned since you began working at Silverline?

I have learned so much, I got my Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification and I’m working on getting MuleSoft certified as well. You work with so many different platforms and as a technologist, it’s cool to learn how each of them work.

What do you think makes Silverline successful?

I would say the people, we have a lot of highly motivated, intelligent people that want to do good work.

What is your favorite perk?

Working from home!

What is your favorite memory from working at Silverline?

The summit this past June and building the cars for STEM Santa Fe. It was a great way to give back to the community in New Mexico and bond with coworkers.

What do you hope for your future at Silverline?

To expand my knowledge into other clouds and other parts of the business. I want to move into different technologies at Silverline and learn more core development work.

What advice would you give someone considering a job at Silverline?

Make sure you are self-motivated especially if you are working remotely. Be prepared for change and a lot of new opportunities.
